In addition to his local responsibilities in Weber County, Ricky serves as the Chairman of the Elections Subcommittee for the National Association of Counties. He is a founding member of the Department of Homeland Security’s Election Infrastructure Government Coordinating Council.
He has testified twice before Congress regarding elections. He serves on the U.S. Election Assistance Commission Board of Advisors. He served as President of the Utah Association of Counties. He was honored as Utah’s County Clerk of the Year in 2015 and Auditor of the Year in 2013 and 2017.
Ricky earned his Masters of Accountancy from BYU, is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Public Official, and also earned his Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) license in 1997. He serves on the Constitution Day Committee of Utah, and on the State’s Private Activity Bond Authority. He’s also an Eagle Scout.
She has election experience both at a state and at local level from her work in the Utah Lieutenant Governor’s Office and with Salt Lake City. While at the Lieutenant Governor’s Office, she served as the state’s Elections Security Specialist and then Office Manager. During her time at Salt Lake City, working in the Recorder’s Office, she played a central role in administering the city’s elections.
Lauren is a Utah native and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Southern Utah University, and her Master’s Degree in Homeland Security from Northeastern in Boston.

Megan has been a part of the elections team since 2019. She has worked for Weber County since 2012. She spent more than a decade as a public librarian both here in Utah and in upstate New York.
She has a master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and a Bachelor’s Degree in both Creative Writing and American History from Western Washington University.
Megan and her spouse are owned by four cats, who supervise her LEGO building hobby.

Stacy joined the elections team in 2020 and has worked at Weber County since 2015 and has worked in the health department prior to working the Clerk/Auditors office. She has lived in Weber County since childhood.
She is enthusiastic about our county and annually volunteers with Ogden’s Christmas Village. She is a proud grandma and enjoys spending time with her grandchild. Stacy relishes living among Weber County’s rock cliffs on
the east bench.

Joe has been a seasonal employee for the Weber elections department since 2013 performing a myriad of duties. He’s excited to be the newest full time member of the elections team.
Educated at University of Utah 1973 – 1978 in Journalism and Mass Communications - Writing.
He has been/is a licensed real estate broker in Utah since 1995.
He and his wife Sheri celebrated their 40th anniversary this year. They have 4 children and 5 grandchildren.
Billie has worked for Weber County since 2020 and joined the Election’s Team in 2023. She has a Master’s Degree in Professional Communication and Criminal Justice from Weber State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Utah Tech University.
